I’m Back…

Hey everyone! It's been a long time since I checked in. Sorry for disappearing, but I've been super busy. Time to fill you in on what's been happening. Oh, and guess what? My sisters, Aja and Amani, are now part of the team too! Our journey has been pretty awesome so far. We’ve made some great sales and been to different farmer’s markets and craft fairs. I'm really proud of how things are going and where we're headed.

So, get this – something interesting happened not too long ago. This lady came up to us and started sharing her opinions about how we set things up. She said we should use less color because it looks more grown-up. And get this, she didn't seem to like our body butter and soap much. But honestly, I wasn't bothered. We're new to this, so it's okay if things aren't perfect. Her thoughts didn't really get to me.

Thinking back on our journey, it's crazy how much we've achieved in under a year. We even got featured in newspapers and made lots of sales. Shoutout to our supporters – you're amazing! Without your encouragement, we wouldn't have come this far. Your support means everything.

Sure, there's competition out there, but there are also awesome people like Luci from Caribbean Fine. She sells similar stuff and she's been super supportive. She thinks of it as not competing, but rather helping each other out.  Looking ahead, we've got this super cool event planned – the Mira Mesa Arts and Craft Fair. It's our first time, and I'm feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness. I hope it goes well and there's not too much competition.

Even though I'm homeschooling, I'm still doing my part for the business. Amani's been teaching me sewing, and we've been making really cute scrunchies together. She's been working on tote bags and other cool stuff too. For the Arts and Crafts Fair, we'll have soap, body butter, face wash, shampoos, hair oil, bath bombs, scrunchies, and bags. But I'm super pumped for the fair. It's near a mall and restaurants, so there's going to be a big crowd.

Again, thanks to all my support and I will be coming around more often with newsletters about what is going on.
